Using the patient’s own blood products to rejuvenate skin and promote hair growth is a relatively simple and effective way to build your injecting skills while adding another string to your cosmetic injecting bow.

In this course you will receive/learn:

  • Understand the role autologous rejuvenation with blood products in medicine and cosmetic medicine.
  • The basics of blood components and how they play a role
  • Consultation and assessment including education, consent and managing expectations
  • Preparation of blood products including drawing blood, centrifugation and preparation for injection
  • Common injections methods for skin, scarring and hair loss
  • Identifying and managing potential risks and side effects
  • Patient care and aftercare including follow up
  • Legal and ethical considerations including documentation, guidelines and the recently changed advertising guidelines.

Full payment is required to confirm your place in the workshop. We have small classes with a maximum of 6 injectors per day, so placement in the training course is on a first paid, first served basis.

For cancellations of your place in the workshop, we require at least 14 days’ notice.

You will receive a full refund of the training cost or the opportunity to transfer to another date, subject to availability.

Cancellations from 8 – 13 days prior to the training date are eligible for a 50% refund of the workshop cost or have one opportunity to transfer to a future date for the same workshop.

Any cancellations within 7 days prior to the workshop will forfeit the full training fee and are unable to transfer to an alternative training date.

Hyalase® (Hyaluronidase 1500 IU) is an unfunded general sale medicine prescription medicine used to temporarily break down hyaluronic acid in connective tissue, enhancing the dispersion and absorption of injected substances. In cosmetic medicine, it is commonly used to dissolve hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. Refer datasheet for dose and method of administration details.

Contraindications include hypersensitivity to hyaluronidase, use in infected or malignant areas, and intravenous administration.

Precautions: Caution is advised in pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, and the product should not be combined with dopamine or alpha agonists. Severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been reported rarely. Always follow aseptic technique and observe clients post-treatment.
